About the Community Assets Repository
Welcome to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Community Assets Repository. This tool is an interactive system designed to inventory and analyze the needs and priorities of communities, institutions, and organizations across Nebraska. Within the tool, you will find documents and resources such as Annual Plans, Community Health Improvement Plans, Community Health Needs Assessments, Reports, Strategic Plans, and more. The goal of the tool is to provide a central hub in which community members, researchers, health professionals, nonprofit partners, government officials, and others can locate and utilize documents related to assets and priorities in their counties and across the state.
To use the Community Assets Repository, we recommend starting by choosing your location(s) of interest. To do this, either click the map or select from the “Locations” menu on the left. Additionally, you can search by keyword or title, filter by category, or browse the full document list. If you have a document you’re interested in adding to the tool submit it to the site and our team will review it.
The University of Nebraska-Lincoln’s Community Assets Repository was built in collaboration between Nebraska Extension and the Center for Applied Research and Engagement Systems, with funding from the Great Plains IDeA-CTR. For questions about the Community Assets Repository, email Jentry Barrett.
